Agriculture minister Senzeni Zokwana’s spokesperson Steve Galane said his boss launched the programme at the beginning of the month and has been criss-crossing the country trying to get the youth to choose agriculture as a career.

“Most of our farmers will be out of the system in three years or so, hence the minister is going around the country encouraging the youth to come aboard,” said Galane.
